Health Camps in Remote and Border Areas of Uttarakhand

Uttarayana Faith Foundation in collaboration with Uttarayana Hospital and National Heart Institute (NHI), New Delhi, works to improve access to quality healthcare for underserved communities in Uttarakhand. Its outreach programmes bring preventive, diagnostic and specialist services to remote Himalayan settlements and high-altitude border villages, where difficult terrain and limited healthcare facilities make timely treatment a challenge.

Medical Camps and Doorstep Healthcare

Through comprehensive health camps and doorstep healthcare services, the Foundation has benefited over 50,000 patients. These initiatives provide health screening, medical consultations, cardiac assessment and health education, supporting early identification of illness and referral for further care.

Access to Advanced Cardiac Treatment

The Foundation has facilitated access to advanced cardiac treatment for over 1,000 patients at NHI, New Delhi. By connecting community outreach with specialist hospital services, the programme helps patients requiring further evaluation and treatment access appropriate care beyond their villages.

Community Impact

These CSR initiatives help address geographical and financial barriers to healthcare, promote preventive health practices and support timely medical intervention. They connect underserved rural communities with essential healthcare and advanced cardiac services, bringing care closer to those who need it most.
