KIDNEY FUNCTION TEST (KFT)

A Kidney Function Test (KFT) is a group of blood and urine tests used to assess how well the kidneys are working. These tests help detect kidney damage, monitor existing kidney disease, and evaluate how effectively the kidneys remove waste products and maintain the body's fluid and electrolyte balance. KFT is commonly advised for routine health screening, monitoring kidney disease, diabetes or hypertension, or when symptoms suggest reduced kidney function.
