DENGUE IgG/IgM

The Dengue IgG & IgM blood test is a blood test used to detect antibodies produced by the immune system in response to a dengue virus infection.
Dengue IgM: Usually becomes detectable around 4–5 days after symptoms begin and may indicate a recent or current dengue infection.
Dengue IgG: Generally appears later and can remain detectable for a long time. It may indicate a past dengue infection or, depending on the pattern and timing, a recent infection.
The test is commonly used along with symptoms, examination, and sometimes dengue NS1 antigen or PCR testing to help diagnose dengue.
